End-to-End VDC Solutions
We build the entire system in a virtual environment before construction to help ensure more accurate and efficient installation in the field. We can also provide design-assist modeling services, working closely with the project's electrical engineers to help them improve the constructability of their designs.
Our VDC process includes the following steps:
- The team creates an accurate 3D model of the project’s electrical systems using Revit MEP, based on contract documents and actual equipment data
- Utilizing NavisWorks clash detection software, the model is coordinated with models from other trades (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, etc.) and the architectural and structural elements of the project
- If needed, changes are made before construction starts, when they often cost significantly less
